Ever since its establishment, UIBE Law School has made the internationalization of the faculty a focus of its work.  It vigorously expands channels for international cooperation and communication and actively supports full-time faculty members’ study and training abroad so as to improve their professional capacity and foreign language proficiency, and to adhere increasingly with international standards.  Various faculty members hold an overseas doctoral or master degree or have visited prestigious overseas law schools. A large number of well-known scholars and legal practitioners visit our law school every year, giving lectures and academic seminars. UIBE Honorary Professors include Professor John H. Jackson, the renowned scholar in international economic law and Mr. James Bacchus and Ms. Zhang Yuejiao, former and current Chairs of the WTO Appellate Body.
